We welcome you and your four-legged companions to The Twelve with our Pampered Pet Program - designed to treat your pets with our renowned 5-star service, just as you’d expect for yourself.
Recognized as Ireland’s most pet-friendly hotel, our Pet Program features an assortment of goodies and amenities for man’s best friend. No need to pack pooch-friendly toys or doggie bowls, we have it all covered.
Pet-friendly suites are spacious and designed featuring hardwood floors, a master bedroom, and a living area. The open walk-in shower bathroom (no bathtub) offers moody lighting, cotton bathrobes, slippers, and 100% organic Voya bath products.

Pet Policy
- Dogs stay free!
- There is a height restriction of 30".
- We provide 3 pet-friendly suites, with no more than one pet only per suite.
- Dog beds are provided upon request.
- We offer a welcome bag with a dog toy, snack, clean-up bags, and information on dog walks.
- Bowls for water and food are provided.
- Owners are required to bring their own dog food but can order dishes off our doggy menu as a special treat.
- We require a deposit of €50 per night for our pet-friendly suites. This is refundable/transferrable up to 10 days prior to arrival.
- Dogs are allowed in the public areas of the hotel but must be kept on a lead.
- Your pet is allowed to join you in The Pins Gastro-Bar at the discretion of the manager for breakfast, dinner, and drinks. For a special treat, we offer a chef-designed doggie menu with starters, main course and dessert.
- You must have an up to date health certificate for your pet from the vet.
- As a courtesy to our other guests, there are restrictions on certain breeds of dogs under the 'control of dogs act 1998'.

The Twelve is considered Ireland's most pet-friendly hotel for a reason! The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and our little Poppy. We had a lovely Christmas stocking waiting in the room with treats and toys, there was a big comfy dog bed for her and a water bowl with spring water.
We ate at the in-house gastro-bar, The Pins, where the waiter was just as attentive and Poppy had her own menu to order from, settling on the Connemara Meat Balls which she went crazy for!!
All-round a lovely experience where we felt totally welcome travelling with a dog!

Absolutely amazing stay at The Twelve hotel in Galway. Monkey was treated like a king. This hotel goes above and beyond to make not only your stay enjoyable and memorable but your fur baby’s stay as well. Pet beds, bowls, toys, treats, pet exclusive menu, you name it, they have it. Highly recommend! Your lovely pooch isn’t just allowed in the hotel and room but in the restaurant for all your meals too. Talk about inclusive. Definitely 5 paws and Monkey Approved 🐾 shout out to the incredible staff- Barry, Alan, Pricilla, Rudy, Dylan, Joset , Lorena
