Luggwoods Woodland Walk of Wonder is a delightful outdoor fall festival and an adventure through a natural forest trail. Throughout the walk join in on the fun as you sing, dance, and engage with the friendly Luggwoods Characters on a quest to collect ingredients for the Halloween Witch's Brew. Don't forget to stop by  Luggwoods Mini Pumpkin Patch, where every child can choose their very own pumpkin and meet a friendly witch. This event is designed for kids up to 12 years old and promises a non-scary, memorable experience in a natural setting.

Mollies Family Farm is a dog-friendly pumpkin patch that is a fantastic autumn day filled with plenty of activities. Select your very own perfect pumpkin right from the field, and unleash your creativity by carving it to ward off ghosts this Halloween.

In addition to pumpkin picking, some more farm fun can be had such as face painting. The festival runs over the last two weekends of October and they also offer refreshments such as tea, coffee, and sweet treats onsite!  Don't forget to bring your wellies, as it can get a bit muddy.

Clonfert Pet Farm

Get ready for a spooktacular time at Clonfert Pet Farm this Halloween, renowned for its exciting family fun event featuring a dog-friendly pumpkin patch, a thrilling fun fair, and a haunted house, making it one of the best dog-friendly places to relish the fall fun while picking your own pumpkin! With the event running from the 21st to the 31st of October 2023, tickets were launched at the start of September and are selling out fast! While there will be a plethora of Halloween activities, and loads of opportunities to get new family photos, make sure to visit their "petting zoo" and say "hi" to their variety of favorite farm animals like cows, ponies, and goats. 

  • Dates -  From October 21st to 31st 
    • There are 3 available sessions per weekend day: 10 am - 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm, and 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
  • Book Tickets
    • €19.50 Child (All Inclusive) - Includes Admission, Unlimited rides at the fun fair, Pumpkin, and all other Halloween activities (excludes Face Painting) 
    • €9 General Admission - Admission adult or child, does not include a pumpkin or fun fair rides.
  • Pet Policy 
    • Dogs are welcome and must be on a lead at all times.  
    • Restrictive breeds may be refused from the patch without a muzzle. 
    • Dog owners are reminded that they must always clean up after their pups.

Alright Pumpkin Patch

Having been a family-owned farm for generations, this land in Co. Meath has been transformed into a vibrant and dog-friendly pumpkin patch.  It’s not just about the pumpkins, and while you can pick pumpkins of all sizes; it’s the perfect spot for the whole family to lose themselves in the corn maze, interact with farm animals, enjoy tractor rides, and relish warm drinks in the crisp autumn air among sunflowers and sweetcorn! And yes, it’s a farm, and sometimes very muddy, so don't forget the wellies! 

  • Dates -  October 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th with timeslots at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm

Ballycross Apple Farm

Get ready to bring your ghosts and goblins for some unforgettable Halloween fun at Ballycross Apple Farm this October, a haven for festive, dog-friendly activities like meeting the resident witch, picking your own pumpkin from the patch, and enjoying tractor rides back to the farm where a plethora of scrumptious snacks await at the Ballycross Cafe! Visitors can explore the farm shop throughout October to grab a bounty of fresh and local produce like apples and pumpkins.

Fulton's Pumpkin Patch

Come embrace the fall season by exploring Fulton's colorful pumpkin patch with over 19 types of pumpkins, from the 14th to 29th of October, between 10 am to 4 pm. Families can enjoy new attractions like the indoor spook tunnel and the witch house, and can also indulge in refreshments available onsite, or bring their own picnic, and well-behaved, leashed dogs are also welcome. 

Additional offerings include face painting on weekends, professional family photo opportunities, a variety of stalls, and amusements, with individual attractions and pumpkins charged separately from the admission fee of £5 per person, making it essential to book early to secure a spot in this exciting, photo-rich outdoor event.
