23 Dog-Friendly Restaurants in County Cork

The hotels are booked, the pup is up-to-date on all of their vaccines, and the bags are packed for your dog-friendly holiday. Now the question is, where to eat? From personal experiences, I know how difficult it can be to not only find a restaurant with something you fancy, but to find a place to eat that will welcome your pooch with open arms.

When adding restaurants to the website, early on we had to decide what makes a restaurant “dog-friendly”? If you can sit outdoors on a terrace with your dog, is that enough? What about food trucks that only ever operate on take-away? Is this enough to list them on the site? We have decided that in order for us to list a dog-friendly restaurant on www.pawsfriendly.com, a business must either allow you to bring your dog inside or offer additional dog-friendly amenities such as water bowls, treats, puppuccinos, dog menus, etc.

Below, we have included 22 dog-friendly pubs, cafes, restaurants where you can confidently bring your dog and enjoy a meal out with the entire family.
